The Frontiers of Science Institute (FSI) is a six week summer program that 29 students around Colorado were able to participate in including myself this year at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. FSI is designed for high school students who possess strong interest in the science field. FSI’s primary goal is to stimulate student’s knowledge, skills, and interest in STEM subjects through engaging experiences. Students benefit greatly from this opportunity, where they step outside their comfort zones, realize important society roles they are able to fill, and pursue their ambitious goals.
